When you use the site or the optional sign‑in feature, we may collect:

• Account data (via Google Sign‑In): UID, displayName, photoURL, and email provided by Google. We do not collect your password.
• On‑site interaction data: your favorites, likes, ratings, and the associated game identifier (such as page slug).
• Usage and device information: page views, time on page, interaction events, device and browser info, coarse location inferred by analytics/ad platforms.
• Cookie and similar technology data: used to remember preferences, perform analytics, support advertising, and prevent abuse.

How We Use Data

• Authentication: verify identity via Google Sign‑In, show your nickname and avatar, and keep your session active.
• Features and personalization: store and sync your favorites, likes, and ratings across sessions.
• Analytics and improvement: use analytics data (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrika, Microsoft Clarity) to understand usage and improve experience and performance.
• Advertising and business support: use Google AdSense and related services to sustain site operations (see “Sharing and third parties”).
• Security and compliance: detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations; respond to lawful requests by authorities.

Google Sign‑In and Limited Use

• Login method: we use Firebase Authentication’s GoogleAuthProvider (OAuth2) and request basic profile and email solely to provide sign‑in and site features.
• Limited Use: Google‑derived user data is used only to provide user‑facing features, improve the service, and ensure security. We do not sell data.
• Sharing restrictions: we do not transfer Google user data to third parties for independent marketing or ad targeting; limited sharing may occur with processors strictly to operate or maintain our service.
• Revoke access: you can revoke Mokiru’s access anytime at Google Account permissions.

Storage and Retention

• Locations: account interaction data (favorites, likes, ratings) is stored in Firebase Firestore under user namespaces such as users/{uid}/favorites, users/{uid}/likes, and users/{uid}/ratings. Short‑term session state is stored in browser sessionStorage.
• Retention: account interaction data is retained while your account remains active. If you revoke access or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your related records.
• Security: we apply access controls, data minimization, and transport encryption to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. To provide the service and run the site, we may share necessary data with:

• Google services: Firebase (auth and database), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AdSense, Google Custom Search Engine (CSE), and Funding Choices (consent management).
• Microsoft Clarity: for visual interaction analytics and usability improvement.
• Yandex Metrika: for performance and behavior analytics.

These third parties may independently collect or process usage data; please review their privacy policies and settings. We require processors to follow contracts and applicable laws and to process data only under our instructions.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

• Categories: preference cookies, functional cookies, analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics), advertising cookies (e.g., AdSense), and consent‑management cookies (Funding Choices).

• Access and correction: you can view and modify your favorites, likes, and ratings on the site.
• Deletion and revocation: remove interaction records via the UI, or email us to delete data linked to your account.
• Revoke authorization: at any time via Google Account permissions.

Children’s Privacy

Our site is intended for a general audience with age‑appropriate content selections. We do not target children under 13. If you believe we collected data from a child without parental consent, please contact us.

Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please safeguard your account and use a strong password and an up‑to‑date browser.

We may update this policy due to legal or service changes and will show the latest date on this page. Material changes will be communicated in a prominent manner.
